KENSINGTON MARKET

Don't miss the Kensington Market when you're visiting. With great shopping, dining, festivals, artistic attractions, and events, it's the place in the city that really does have it all. With the cold weather here, grab a coffee and warm and and read a book, have some delicious French cuisine, or ice cream. You can do it all here. See for yourself and stop by!

DOWNTOWN @ YONGE-DUNDAS SQUARE

It’s definitely worth a visit to this concrete public space. With billboards, big lights, concerts and public events, Yonge-Dundas Square is hailed as Toronto’s Times Square and gives visitors a taste of the bustling downtown Yonge Street.
The Square is designated for use as a public open space and as an event venue that can accommodate events of various sizes. You'll discover a wide range of activities on the Square: community celebrations, theatrical events, concerts, receptions, promotions – events that appeal to residents and tourists alike and provide a showcase for local businesses.
If you're looking for things to do in Toronto, come visit the heart of the city at Yonge-Dundas Square!

OUTDOOR SKATING AT NATHAN PHILLIPS SQUARE

Located directly in front of City Hall, Nathan Phillips Square plays host to a wide variety of events right in the center of the city. In the summer months,  the square is a hotbed of activity, with many concerts, dance performances, outdoor art exhibitions, a farmers' market one afternoon a week, and weekly childrens' events. Many visitors come just to watch the beautiful fountain and to snack on lunch on a work break, or as a well-needed break while walking around downtown. The Peace Garden is also located here, and serves as a great spot to read a book or have a picnic with friends. In the winter, the reflecting pool becomes a skating rink, with skates available for rental. Be sure to stop by when you're looking for things to do in Toronto.
Ice skating during the winter months runs from mid-November to mid-March each year

SEE THE SIGHTS @ CHINATOWN

One of the largest Chinatown's in North America, Toronto's Chinatown is home to many authentic Chinese restaurants, shops and boutiques. It's a great place to visit and one of the most vibrant areas of the city. Come see for yourself!

SHOP AT HONEST ED'S

Everyone who lives in the city has shopped at Honest Ed's at least once, and most tourists have to visit once before leaving the city, if only to see all those lights once night falls. You can find anything here, from groceries, housewares, hardwares, toiletries and clothing. Name brands and fashion designers pick up clothes here all the time. It's a good place to save money on clothes and food, but not everything is cheap. There are many antique items available from owner Ed Mirvish's collection. Come visit!
